What this tool does
Resize PDF Pages creates a new document using one standard target paper size. Each original page is embedded, scaled proportionally to fit inside the selected margins, and centered. Content is never stretched independently in width or height. You can force portrait or landscape output, or match each source page’s orientation while keeping one selected paper family.
The operation changes the physical page boxes and scales visible page content. It can normalize mixed page sizes for easier printing, fit slides onto office paper, or add consistent white space around page artwork. It does not crop content to fill the page. As a result, source and target aspect ratios that differ will produce larger blank bands on two sides.
This is not a prepress imposition or archival conversion. It does not add bleed, crop marks, color conversion, font repair, OCR, or accessibility tagging. Very small source text may become hard to read when a large page is reduced. Forms, links, bookmarks, annotations, layers, and digital signatures may not behave like the source after page content is embedded in a new PDF.
How to use it
- Choose one PDF up to 50 MB and 500 pages.
- Select A4, US Letter, or US Legal as the target paper.
- Choose portrait, landscape, or orientation matching for each source page.
- Enter a margin from 0 to 72 points; 18 points equals one quarter inch.
- Resize, download, and inspect pages with the smallest text or widest artwork.
Print a single representative page before committing paper or ink. Also disable unexpected scaling in the printer dialog if you need the PDF’s target dimensions to be honored.

Document limitations
Password-protected sources are not supported. A successful export does not guarantee regulatory, legal, archival, or press-production compliance. Creating a new document changes its byte structure and should be assumed to invalidate existing digital signatures. Keep the original whenever forms, accessibility tags, navigation, or evidentiary integrity matter.
