Merge PDF guide
Combine multiple PDF files into a single document in the order you choose.
What this tool does
The merger loads each selected document with pdf-lib, copies its pages into a newly created PDF, and appends them in the numbered file order shown on screen. Existing page content is embedded rather than rendered into images, so text, vectors, dimensions, and visual quality are preserved whenever the source PDF can be read normally.
The current ordering control works at the file level: add files in the intended sequence or remove a file and add it again. It does not reorder individual pages within one source document.
How to use it
- Add two or more PDF files.
- Confirm the numbered file order.
- Remove any file you do not need.
- Select Merge PDFs and wait for local processing.
- Download and open the combined PDF to confirm the sequence.

Understanding the merged document
The output page count equals the sum of pages copied from every readable input file. File size will usually be close to the combined sources, although shared resources and rewritten structure can make it somewhat smaller or larger. Merging is not compression and does not intentionally downsample images.
Encrypted or password-protected PDFs must be unlocked with authorization before use. Processing capacity depends on device memory because every document is opened in the browser. The dropzone currently accepts individual files up to 50 MB to keep browser memory use predictable.
