What this tool does

Extract PDF Pages copies selected pages from one PDF into a new downloadable document. It accepts individual page numbers, inclusive ranges, or a combination such as 1-3, 6, 9-11. Page numbers are checked against the actual document before the output is created, and duplicate selections are included only once.

The tool copies complete PDF pages rather than turning them into screenshots. Text, vector shapes, embedded images, page sizes, and most existing annotations remain part of the PDF structure. Because the original pages are copied, this utility is appropriate for separating a chapter, sharing a short section, or making a smaller working document without manually printing pages to another file.

Processing uses the local browser and the selected file is not uploaded to ToolSeta. Password-protected or structurally damaged PDFs may not open because the browser library must be able to read the document before pages can be copied.

How to use it

1. Select one PDF up to the displayed file-size limit.
2. Wait for the tool to report the detected page count.
3. Enter pages such as 2, a range such as 2-5, or several items separated by commas.
4. Select Extract selected pages.
5. Review the output page count and download the new PDF.

Ranges must run from the lower page number to the higher one. For example, use 3-7, not 7-3. The order of the first valid selections is retained, while repeated page numbers are removed to prevent accidental duplicates.

Useful checks before sharing

Open the downloaded file and confirm that it contains the intended section in the intended order. Page extraction does not remove hidden document metadata or confidential information already embedded inside a selected page. If the source contains sensitive author data, attachments, comments, form values, or redactions, review the final document with an appropriate PDF inspection application before sending it to someone else.

This tool separates pages; it does not edit the visible content, apply permanent redaction, decrypt files, or guarantee that a document meets legal disclosure requirements.
